2024 Campaign

The 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment, often referred to as "7Cav" or the Cav, is a long-standing Military Realism (MILSIM) gaming community that primarily plays first person military shooter and simulation games that values tactical realism, higher standards of conduct, and brotherhood. The Regiment was founded in October 2002, making it one of the oldest milsim clans in existence. The 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment currently supports multiple games: Arma 3, Hell Let Loose (PC), Hell Let Loose (Console), DCS World, Squad, Star Citizen, and Star Wars RPG. The Cav is always looking to expand its presence through new, popular games that support tactical team-based gameplay. As of 2024, the Cav currently supports a community of over 600 active members!

1st Battalion, the 7th Cavalry Regiment is fully dedicated to Arma 3 and is currently comprised of the following units:

• Alpha Company is the aviation and call for fires element, consisting of both Fixed and Rotary aircraft pilots and crew.

• Bravo Troop is the Battalion Cavalry Troop provides medical/logistical support personnel in addition to one platoon of Mechanized Infantry.

• Charlie Company is the tip of the spear, with two platoons of Airborne infantrymen.

2nd Battalion, the 7th Cavalry Regiment is currently comprised of the following units:

• Alpha Company is fully dedicated to Hell Let Loose, a WW II shooter. This company is comprised of three platoons of infantry.

• Bravo Company is fully dedicated to Hell Let Loose, a WW II shooter. This company is comprised of a platoon of infantry and one of airborne infantry.

• Charlie Company is fully dedicated to Hell Let Loose, a WW II shooter. This company is comprised of one platoon of armor.

Auxiliary Combat Detachment, the 7th Cavalry Regiment also supports the following gaming platoons:

• Alpha Company is fully dedicated to Digital Combat Simulator, a realistic military aviation simulator. This is comprised four aviation platoons.

• Bravo Company is fully dedicated to Hell Let Loose Console, a WW II shooter. This is comprised of two homogeneous Platoons 

• Charlie Company is fully dedicated to Squad. A tactical first person shooter. This is comprised of one infantry Platoon.

• We also are supporting and looking to Grow , Star Citizen, SWRP, CS2
